How does the Polniak Law Firm, PLLC collect a debt?

• First, we coordinate a plan to assist the creditor in obtaining an agreement with the debtor. This is not always a simple task. However, we are experienced in negotiating with the debtor to finalize the matter prior to bringing a legal action.

• Second, if a legal action is required, we utilize the legal processes to get notice to the debtor. Depending on the monetary value of the debt, will determine the appropriate Court the legal action is filed. It is at this stage that most Creditor/Debtor issues are resolved.

• Third, if there is still a dispute between the Creditor and Debtor at this stage, a court date has typically already been set and the parties prepare to go to court.

• Fourth, we obtain a judgment. This can be done by prevailing at trial, by agreement of the Parties, or by Default. Once the Creditor obtains a judgment, it is our priority to utilize our methods, tools and strategies in collecting the Judgment on the Creditor's behalf.
