Veterans Advocacy

As a Veteran myself, and family member to multi-generational military veterans, I know firsthand the difficulties veterans face attempting to use their military benefits.

One such example involves enrollment with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for medical benefits. The process to submit claims to the VA can be a long and complex process. Without the proper guidance, claims are often denied for incorrect paperwork rather than actually reviewing the underlying condition of the veteran. The sad part about a claim denial for incorrect paperwork is that the veteran does not even get notification on what needs to be corrected and continues to submit incorrect paperwork.

Other times, veterans have their benefits reduced or terminated as a result of incorrectly submitting or failing to submit the required documentation to continue a benefit. These benefits then create "benefit debts" and can arise from medical or educational benefits for example.

At the Polniak Law Firm, we can assist veterans in all areas of military benefits. From initiating and claim or even appealing a claim, we have the knowledge and experience to request you need. We can assist with administrative hearings, submit supplemental claims, negotiate compromise offers on debts or requesting debt waivers on behalf of the veteran.

If you are a veteran or current servicemember, or even a spouse or dependent of a qualified veteran or current servicemember, please call our office today to schedule our appointment and discuss your case today.
